These courses are for physicians interested in concomitant ablation and all aspects of the surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation.  From patient selection to the latest clinical evidence, these dynamic courses feature a variety of learning formats.  Watch this video with Dr. Ali Khoynezhad to learn what you can expect from a surgical ablation training course hosted by AtriCure.

You will be trained by experts in the field of AFib ablation.  Your trainers will provide tips on
becoming
an effective AFib surgeon and show you how to avoid pitfalls in different settings.
At the end of the course, you’ll be able to discuss upcoming cases with a trainer to identify
the right strategy for your patients.

Advanced Practice Provider Education

2020 Advanced Practice
Provider Education

‘The Advanced Practice Provider in the Surgical Treatment of Afib’ is a program built on the fundamentals of the Cox Maze IV procedure and Left Atrial Appendage Exclusion. This peer-to-peer APP program focuses on the evidenced-based rationale, efficiency and efficacy of performing concomitant Maze IV surgery for persistent forms of atrial fibrillation.

The class is designed to encourage attendee interaction and group discussion. Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, RN First Assistants, RN Coordinators and other HCP’s involved in the management and treatment of Afib patients are welcome to attend. Programs are delivered on a regional basis throughout the year.
